Germinates best at cold temperatures. At temperatures above 13°C they do not germinate easily. So it is best to sow them in a cold, unheated greenhouse. Certainly not on a warm windowsill. Germinates between 2 and 3 weeks. If you do not have a greenhouse, you can also put the seeds in the refrigerator (2°C) for 7 days to promote germination.

Also give these plants some support, so they don't fall over in wind or heavy rain.

Harvest them when 1/3 of the flowers are open and you can expect a good week of vase life.

Type: Hardy annual

Height: 1 - 1.20m

Location: Full sun in rich, well-drained soil (does not like to be too wet)

Content: 1 gram
