The large, richly filled flowers have a beautiful and ever-changing colour palette of copper, soft peach, apricot and antique pink. As the flowers develop further, the colour nuances change too. This means that almost every flower looks just a little different.

With its many petals, Copper Image has the appearance of a small peony. A fantastic tulip for anyone who loves warm, muted tones and is looking for something a little different from classic pink, red or yellow.

For me, this is also a true cut flower: in a bouquet, Copper Image combines beautifully with blush, cream, apricot and soft pink.

How to plant Copper Image

Plant the tulip bulbs in autumn, preferably between October and December, in well-drained soil.

Plant them approximately 10–15 cm deep, with the pointed end facing upwards.

For the best effect, plant several bulbs together in a group. The subtle colour differences between the flowers will then be shown to even greater effect.

Copper Image also looks beautiful in a large pot or planter.
