Bells of Ireland - Irish Bells (Moluccella laevis)

Bells of Ireland - Irish Bells (Moluccella laevis)

An ideal green filler! Beautiful fresh green colour to put in your bouquets.

You can also use Bells of Ireland as a dried flower.
The smell always reminds me of soap. Harvest regularly to encourage side shoots to bloom.

Sowing: from autumn or early spring (from mid-February).
Do not cover the seed, because light is needed for germination. Seeds need a cold start, so you can put the seeds in the refrigerator (2-4 °C) for 1-2 weeks before sowing. After that, it takes about 12-21 days at an ideal germination temperature of 18-20 °C for Irish Bells to germinate.

Position: Sun/part shade.

Content: +/- 80-100 seeds
