Craspedia Globosa Drumstick * * Available end of September * *
Very popular yellow drumsticks or Craspedia Globosa. An excellent cut flower or dried flower. Originating in Australia, the craspedia is a perennial there but here it often freezes to pieces. The plant can survive a very mild winter in a sheltered spot. But it is best to sow them every year again like other annual flowers.
Sowing is best done in spring from the end of February / March to June. It takes about 14 to 18 days at an average temperature of 21-24°C for Craspedia to germinate.
Craspedia can be planted out from May onwards, once the risk of frost has passed.
Height: 90 cm
Contents +- 100 seeds
Many of the seeds were stuck in the adhesive strip of the packaging/seed bags
Hey Melissa,
What a shame that this happened to your bag. My apologies for this!
It is still a bit too early to give an assessment of the result, but I am already looking forward to seeing the irresistible drumsticks growing in my wild garden.
I am already looking forward to all that beauty in spring! Good service and always beautifully cared for packages!
Dear,
We sowed the seeds immediately after receiving them and as you can see in the pictures the seeds have already grown into beautiful young plants.
We are already looking forward to enjoying the flowers.
