Centaurea Cyanus or Cornflower

Not your classic bright blue cornflower but now in a very beautiful dark color.
Cornflowers benefit greatly from sheltered sowing in a cold greenhouse/conservatory in the autumn as a hardy annual. This will give you taller, sturdier plants in the spring. But you can of course also sow them in the spring. They are hardy so they can withstand frost.

Feel free to keep cutting this plant, so you will always have new stems. The bees love it too.
