Malope trifida 'Vulcan'

Malope trifida 'Vulcan'

With its southern roots, this beautiful flower surprisingly feels at home in our region. Vulcan grows into a sturdy plant that is covered all summer with satin-soft flowers in a deep red shade. In the border, it immediately stands out, and in the cutting garden, it provides long stems for bouquets that make you happy.

Bees and butterflies love it – your garden will buzz with life. Give it a sunny spot in airy, well-draining soil and make sure the plants have some breathing room. That keeps them strong and healthy.

And a golden tip: the more you pick, the more it comes back. Regular cutting or removing spent flowers extends the bloom well into late summer. For the connoisseurs: the flowers are even edible and make a delightfully extravagant garnish on a plate.
