Sweet peas are a must in every picking garden. Made a new mix for this year in white, lilac and light blue

Sow sweet peas in deep pots or a root trainer in the conservatory/greenhouse. You can do this in the fall for stronger plants and earlier flowers. Or from January. A little bottom heat helps with germination. You can use a heating mat for this.

Harvest every 3 days for a continuous flow to maintain these sweetly scented flowers. Do you want exuberant flowering? Be sure to provide liquid plant food or a rich soil.
Sweet peas should be tied up because they can climb up to 2m40 high.
