Scabiosa atropurpurea "Fata Morgana"

Scabiosa, also called Doveweed or Mournwort. Despite the name that evokes an image of a skin disease, this is a fantastic plant for your garden.

This wonderful variety "Fata Morgana" gives you beautiful shades ranging from buttercream yellow to soft apricot pink. Fantastic in bouquets and very productive. Bees love Scabiosa, and the plant blooms all summer long (don’t forget to remove spent flower heads).

Type: hardy, semi-hardy – best sown in a greenhouse or cold frame in early spring (from February or March). Do not cover the seed, as Scabiosa is a light germinator.
