Ranunculus tubers – grow lush spring flowers yourself

Looking for high-quality ranunculus tubers?
With these ranunculus varieties, you’ll grow lush, rose-like spring flowers in soft or vibrant colours. Perfect for garden beds, containers or cutting for the vase. A little patience goes a long way 🌸

Ranunculus tubers: flowers worth waiting for

Ranunculus are true spring favourites. Their full, layered blooms resemble roses or peonies — but with a lighter, more delicate feel.

These ranunculus tubers are ideal for gardeners who enjoy growing their own flowers, even in smaller spaces. They thrive in borders, raised beds and large pots alike.

When to plant ranunculus tubers

Ranunculus tubers can be planted in early spring or in autumn (in a sheltered spot).
Soak the tubers for a few hours before planting, place them with the “claws” facing down and grow them in a light, well-drained soil.

Ranunculus as cut flowers

Ranunculus are highly valued by florists — and for good reason.
They have strong stems, an excellent vase life and open slowly, allowing you to enjoy them for longer. Perfect for bouquets, cutting gardens or small table vases.

Carefully selected by Tuinkabouter Chrisje
