Zinnia Queen Lime Orange
Zinnia Queen Lime Orange
Zinnia Elegans Queen Lime Orange, similar to the Queen Lime Red but with an orange hue! Together they look very beautiful. A striking color for midsummer and autumn bouquets.
How to sow zinnias?
Zinnias are easy-to-grow plants, as they germinate quickly within about 5 days. Ideal for the impatient among us! The ideal germination temperature is 21-24°C. You can start sowing zinnias indoors (greenhouse, conservatory, or inside) 4 weeks before your last frost date (mid-May). Transplanting, after hardening off, can only be done once the risk of frost has passed (after mid-May). Zinnias are frost-sensitive and cannot tolerate (night) frost.
Location for zinnias
Zinnias originate from Mexico and therefore prefer a warm, sunny spot. A location in full sun (= at least 6 hours of direct sunlight) will give you the most beautiful flowers.
