Tulip ‘Angelique’ – 10 bulbs - PRE-ORDER

A romantic classic in soft pink 🌷

Tulip ‘Angelique’ is the kind of tulip that is hard not to fall in love with.

The large, densely filled flowers almost resemble small peonies. They open in beautiful shades of soft pink, blush and cream, with the colour subtly changing as the flower opens further.

Angelique is a Double Late tulip, so it produces a stunning display of flowers later in spring. Ideal for extending the flowering season in your tulip border or cutting garden after the early tulips have finished blooming.

And of course, Angelique makes a wonderful cut flower. Its soft colour and peony-like flower shape make it perfect for loose, romantic spring bouquets.

Combine it with white and cream for a very soft look, or with peach, apricot and copper for a little more warmth.

I also chose Angelique for my Soft Pastel Tulip Mix.

How to plant Angelique

Plant the tulip bulbs in autumn, preferably between October and December, in well-drained soil.

Plant them approximately 10–15 cm deep, with the tip facing upwards.

For a romantic, full effect, plant several bulbs together in a group. Angelique also looks beautiful in a large pot, on its own or combined with other tulips in soft shades.
