Bupleurum has a green leaf color and bears yellow-green flowers that resemble the Euphorbia.
This easy-to-grow plant adds a very special touch to your bouquets. Harvest Bupleurum when the flowers are nicely open, otherwise it tends to hang limp. Has a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
Sowing: semi-hardy annual. You can sow in the cold greenhouse from February or you can also sow directly from March. Because it is a light germinate, it is best not to cover this seed. Bupleurum germinates rather capriciously, between 7 to 14 days and sometimes up to a month! Ideal germination temperature around 16 degrees.
Full sun - be careful with over-fertilization - then you have more leaf growth and little flowering.
